Seat of Sorrow

In the seat of sorrow I shall recline,
As the light of life ceases to shine,
Dreams that are borrowed I shall leave behind,
For my awoken heart has now gone blind.

Unheard, unheeded, so loathed were my pleas,
Though mountains apart, it's not I whom you miss,
Cravings of your soul are not for me,
Hence with my ailing heart, I set you free.
